School + Job Assistance
Our House Supervisors help the students with their homework, applying for jobs, writing a resume, and maintaining a schedule to achieve their goals.
Life Skills
The USI program helps students learn how to do laundry, cook, clean, grocery shop, budget, and many other life skills they would traditionally learn at home.
Support
Our program coordinators work with each student individually to set goals, and then create the path to achieve those goals. This is achieved through regular meetings with each student to check on their progress and help them come up with a new plan if the road goes a different direction (or they change their mind).
Responsibility
USI’s goal is to help our students learn to be responsible for their actions and choices while providing them a safe environment to step into adulthood and the support needed to be independent.
